This is method is also referred to as ‘flipping.’ It’s probably the most commonly known way of making money.

In fact, all retail stores are essentially flipping.

They buy products from a wholesaler or manufacturer, and they make a profit when they re-sell the products to us (the consumer) at a marked-up price.

Fortunately, you don’t have to be a colossal retailer to flip products. There a lot’s of things you can buy and re-sell from home. Here are some interesting things to buy that will make you money.

Selling Artwork

This isn’t a get rich quick idea. It requires knowledge, time, and possibly a significant amount of capital to invest upfront. None the less I’ve decided to include this on the list because I know that artwork can be an extremely lucrative flipping option.

Collectors and other investors are prepared to spend A LOT of money to get hold of original and rare artwork.

In 2010, a Pablo Picasso painting was sold at auction for $106.5 million. And one day, it will be sold will most likely be re-auctioned and sold for even more.

5. Create eBooks or eLearning Course

If you’re an expert at something, or even if you know more about a topic than others do, you may want to consider writing your own eBook.

You can write it in a basic word processing program like Microsoft Word, Pages, or Google Documents; and then convert it to a PDF.

You’ll be able to share it on a site like Gumroad, which helps your potential customers view a sample of your book, before purchasing.

This is perfect for someone who has a full-time job, family commitments or maybe just limited for time.

Many well-known sites and influencers make a lot of money from Affiliate Marketing. Here are some affiliate marketing examples.

I too promote affiliates in my blog posts. I’m meticulous about the products I recommend, and I only recommend products and services I know, trust, and would use myself.

That being said, if someone ends up buying a product or service from clicking an affiliate link on my blog, I can get paid a commission. Happy days!

Now, this may seem a little strange, but we all have a friend who is in need of a kids-free night out.

Babysitting is a great way to earn extra cash on your own schedule. You can start by asking around and reminding people you know that you’re available.

Social media is also an excellent method for just posting a quick status letting people know. Mention that you’re responsible (it’s a bonus if you know CPR), and that you have some free time on your hands.

If you don’t have friends or family members that need your services, you can branch out by using sites that will connect you to families in need.

There are a variety of scheduling options, including weekend house sitting, weekend baby or pet sitting, and even full-time nanny positions.

Some parents may also be tourists who want to go for a night out while knowing that their children are in good, capable hands.

If you prefer sitting with seniors, you can sign up to be a caregiver for someone who is bed-ridden or otherwise home-ridden.

In a select few cases you may end up having to have some medical expertise, but in most cases, they just need someone to sit with them and make sure they’re okay.

There are a variety of jobs available, including home visits. This is where you check the mail, turn the lights on /off, and water plants. Or, sometimes the more advanced visits like feeding a bird, cat, or changing a litter box.

Pet sitting positions are great for someone who doesn’t like their roommate or housing situation because you’re paid to live somewhere else, while the owner is out of town.

You may even be allowed to enjoy their amenities like television, cable, swimming pools, or even food (if they’ve let you know that it’s okay to help yourself).
How to Become a Dog Walker

As a dog walker, you’ll have a more enduring position available to you. House sitting is a sweet gig, but it’s only required a few times a year.

Dog walking can be ongoing and occur several times a week for the same client, which allows you to build a relationship with each animal.

Typically if you sign up with an agency, you’ll be assigned clients that are your regular responsibility.

If you sign up with an app like Wag or Rover, you may pick up walks like how a Uber driver would pick up fares.

This may not be as satisfying because you don’t get to form a long-term relationship with the dog, but it may be more lucrative.

Apps are also really convenient for you to log your walking path, take photos of the pup, and even provide places for people to give feedback and tips.

Of course, you can always advertise to your own friends and family that you’ve started walking dogs.

However, you may find that going with a larger company may bring you additional jobs.

Plus, you won’t have to be a part of the admin service; your only job will be to care for the animal, which is a relief for people who don’t appreciate paperwork.

Apps make trips appear with just one click of a button, and in many cases, customers can even select who your driver is or what kind of car they’ll be riding in.

There is feedback and enhanced safety measures. There are even coupon codes and other incentives to enhance the experience.

Because of this, the ride-share companies continue to hire as many drivers as humanly possible.

The perks are pretty competitive, drivers keep a large portion of their fare charges, and in some cases, they may earn a signing bonus of up to $500!

Live Trivia is the newest craze that’s sweeping the nation (especially with millennials), and it’s easy to see why.

Download a free app, answer some questions while listening to an entertaining host, and you can win money!

As a bonus, you’ll also learn some things too. Most apps allow you to interact with your friends; and share your scores (sometimes even your answers) with them.

The most popular game was the original trivia game HQ; which came out in August of 2017.

By December it was featuring celebrity hosts like Jimmy Kimmel, Robert DeNiro, and Bert from Sesame Street.

Games are played each day at 3 pm ET, and each night at 9 pm ET.

7 Interview Tests Job Applicants Must Know

There are many interview tests that are conducted for job applicants by human resources personnel after the job applicants have passed the first stage of the interview. In the second stage of the interview, the human resources personnel and top management official of the company may be present and it is at this stage that most job applicants either make or mar their chances of being employed. The company interviewer will be interested in testing the job applicants in the following areas.

1) Dressing:
The dressing is an important aspect of the interview process. Your dressing will create the first impression anybody will have of you. When going for an interview it is advisable to dress properly and this will show a pleasant personality. You will be addressed according to the way you dress.
There are certain color combinations that are appropriate for an interview. There are certain colors that you should avoid. Colors such as red, green, and yellow should not be used to make your suit. Any of these colours will fit for any interview: ash, black, brown, navy blue. Job applicants must dress professionally when appearing before an interview panel. The following should be observed by men:

Knocking must not be mild also as this depicts sign of nervousness or fear. Moderate knocking is good and it must be at intervals and periodically.
After knocking and there is no response, enter the office and if asked, who permitted you in, just say politely, I knocked but there was no response and since people are inside, I used my initiative to come in. This is part of the interview and they want to know if you can apply your initiative and defend yourself.

5) Handshake
The various patterns of shaking that we learnt on campus should be avoided when we are being put into handshaking test. Shaking with both hands, hitting hard on the other person’s hand should be avoided. If the interviewer offers to shake you, respond the way he/she shakes you. If firmly, responds firmly and if mildly, responds likewise. When he says, please to meet you, say please to meet you.

6) Answering Questions
During the interview, endeavour to answer questions clear and precisely. When asked questions, answer objectively and avoid trying to impress the interviewer with unnecessary grammar. Be honest with the answer you are giving at every point of the interview.

7) Body movement/language
Sitting with both arms and legs crossed and head down depicts lack of proper conduct and should be avoided. Not looking at the interviewer eye to eye portrays one that is afraid. Sitting restlessly on the chair that you are giving to sit on suggests that one is lazy.
